🧠 Wi-Fi CSI Human Sensing & Through-Wall Activity Detection
I am currently building a full experimental system that uses only an ESP32 and Wi-Fi Channel State Information (CSI) to sense human activity, detect movement, and analyze how wireless signals behave in indoor environments. I modified the ESP32 firmware and built my own data pipeline to stream amplitude and phase values from Wi-Fi subcarriers in real time. I'm designing ML models to classify walking, standing, entering/exiting a room, and other basic movements from CSI patterns.
🤖 AI-Powered Personal Digital Twin for Self-Tracking & Behavior Prediction
This is a fully personalized digital twin that runs on my laptop and mobile. It continuously tracks my behavior, learns my patterns, and predicts future actions — all processed locally, without cloud services. I built a system that collects my phone's accelerometer, gyroscope, location, app usage, screen events, and daily routine data. I'm implementing models (CNNs, LSTMs, Transformers) that run directly on my laptop and mobile using TensorFlow Lite and Python.
🚌 GoWay – Smart Transport for Sri Lanka
A Flutter + Node.js + Firebase app transforming public transport with real-time tracking, QR payments, smart seat booking, emergency response and smart complaint system. Recognized at NSRSIT 2025 and KDU-IRC25, GoWay supports UN SDG 11, driving safer, smarter, and more sustainable urban mobility.
🔐 AI-Powered Gait Authentication System
I led a project to create a new kind of security system for smartwatches and wearable devices. Instead of using passwords or fingerprints, our system automatically verifies your identity based on your unique walking style. We trained a neural network to recognize a person based on the subtle patterns in their gait, using just the motion sensors in a smartwatch. Our system was wrong only 2 times out of 100 in real-world conditions, and we improved it to 1.6 times out of 100 while reducing data requirements by 72%.
🚨 IoT Public Safety & Surveillance System – Smart Urban Solution
I built a real-time IoT safety system combining Air Quality Monitoring, Fire Detection, and Contactless Health Scanning to enhance urban safety. The Air Quality Monitor streams temperature, humidity, CO2, ammonia, and dust data to ThingSpeak dashboards for analysis. The Fire Detection System sends instant GPS alerts via SMS to authorities for rapid response, while the Health Scanner performs automated contactless temperature checks.
🌍 Real-Time Air Quality Monitoring Dashboard – Colombo
A web-based dashboard simulating real-time air quality data for Colombo, providing dynamic visualizations, alerts, and historical analytics. Features include interactive Leaflet map, real-time alerts, and an admin dashboard for sensor management, alert configuration, and simulation control. The system uses ASP.NET Core, MySQL, and frontend technologies with secure authentication, enabling smart monitoring and analysis of environmental data.
🎬 LimitlessCinema - Smart Movie Ticket Booking System
Limitless Cinema is a full-stack smart movie ticket booking system designed to modernize and streamline the cinema experience. I contributed as the lead developer, building the platform using Java, Jakarta EE, JSP, MySQL, and the PayPal REST API. The system provides a dynamic movie catalog, real-time seat availability, an interactive seat booking interface, secure online payments, and automated email confirmations. It also includes an admin dashboard for managing movies, showtimes, feedback, and booking activity.
🚗 Smart Vehicle Rental Management System
As a developer in a collaborative project, I contributed to the design and implementation of Dam Seniya Rentals, a full-featured desktop application that modernizes vehicle rental operations. Our team built an enterprise-grade system using C#, Windows Forms, and SQL Server. I implemented secure user authentication with role-based dashboards, developed dynamic vehicle inventory with category filtering, built rental booking logic with automatic calculations, created payment processing and history tracking, and contributed to responsive UI design.
🛒 Grocify – Revolutionizing E-Grocery Shopping
built a Flutter-based mobile app transforming grocery shopping with voice-enabled search, secure payments, and real-time order tracking. The app features an admin dashboard for store management, dynamic inventory updates, and push notifications, enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and support for local businesses. Developed with Flutter, Firebase, Stripe/PayPal, and Voice Recognition APIs, it delivers a seamless cross-platform experience.
